Abu Dhabi: The tumbling of markets yesterday after two days of good business did not catch investors unawares.
"Considering the current global market scenario, today's low performance of the market was not unexpected altogether", said P.K. Saidu Ishak. "However, it did not prevent me from suffering a loss.
"But the loss wasn't too high. I got away without much damage. Most of us keenly monitor the global situation and the media so we deduced today's situation."
Another investor, T.C. Mathew said: "I expected a slump but the market went far below my expectations.
"The day started with low prices initially and then the prices went up. This gave us hope and we thought the prices will get even better but then the market closed at the bottom level," Mathew said.
"I have been investing for 4 years and I have gained and lost from the market. I have faith that it will come back."
