Dubai: The Education Ministry has set out plans to restructure its top management.
In a statement, the Ministry said it "has completed and finalised its development plan, established a basis for qualified human resources nationals and set up modern schools environment, examination and assessment systems'.
During a full review of the top management, the statement noted, there were noticeable "non-response of some officials to the required standards, while others were still affected by the old system and negative performance. Therefore, it sought the necessity and importance of changing the administrative hierarchy in a way that accommodates the required tasks, responsibilities and accomplishments as per the scheduled timelines and frameworks."
Standards
The Ministry said the forthcoming changes have been done according to accurate and precise standards that maintain the stability of the employment atmosphere and the continuity of the ongoing development plans and projects.
Gulf News has learnt that the bylaws for Adult Education will be released some time next week following the education minister's announcement to revamp adult learning and home schooling since there is a noticeable increase in students' failing.
According to the Ministry, there are 13,810 home learners and 17,786 adult learners in the country.
