BankDhofar to increase paid up capital to RO70.7m |

MUSCAT -- An extraordinary general meeting of BankDhofarBankDhofar
agreed on Tuesday to increase the paid up capital from RO 53,081,700 to RO 70,773,831 through the issue of 176,921,306 rights shares representing 33.33 per cent of the existing shares of 530,817,000 with total value of RO 70,768,522. The shareholders have an option to subscribe to an additional 20 per cent of their rights entitlement.
The rights issue price will be RO 0.401 per share, comprising RO 0.100 par value, RO 0.300 share premium and RO 0.001 towards issue expenses. The private placement for the unsubscribed portion of the rights issue will be made to certain specific major shareholders in the agreed percentage.
